SAFETY PLAN
Welcome Back:
Due to the current global pandemic, we have modified our operating protocols in accordance with Public Health Orders and WorkSafe BC. Your dining experience will be altered to keep you and our staff safe. We ask that you be mindful of our staff directives and new guidelines as we all adjust. If you are looking for an experience outside of what we are able to offer within our current guidelines, we ask that you not join us at this time and instead please visit us at a later date when restrictions have been loosened or lifted. We have gone over and above the suggested regulations while still maintaining our commitment to providing our guests unforgettable experiences and exceptional quality and consistency. We may look a little bit different when you join us so we thank you for your patience and support as we adjust to these ever changing times.
Reducing Capacity:
· Our dining room and patio have been reorganized to provide at least 6 feet of distance between you and the nearest guests or plexiglass has been installed as a barrier between tables and other guests.
· Maximum group sizes of 6 people will be followed, where space permits.
· Reservations are available with strict time allotments to allow us to properly sanitize before the next guests booking time. Walk-ins will also be available but very limited.
· Please respect physical distance and one way traffic flow while in our space, and as you enter and exit our restaurant.
· We have staggered start times and shifts wherever possible.
· We will be reducing the amount and duration of table side visits while still ensuring you have everything you need while you are here.
Frequent Sanitization:
· High touch surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized at the beginning and end of each service and maintained every 30 minutes during service.
· Staff will practice exceptional hygiene, including increased hand washing.
· Tables, chairs, menus and all communal table items will be sanitized between each guest.
· Debit/credit machines sanitized after each use.
· Staff and guest sanitation stands will be setup at all entrances, exits, washroom corridors and/or counters.
Monitoring Symptoms:
· Staff being closely monitored for any changes to their health and will not come to work if they have developed any cold or flu-like symptoms.
· Staff temperatures taken at clock in and clock out.
· If symptoms develop at work the employee must leave immediately and contact 811 for recommended next steps.
· Please do not visit our spaces if you or anyone in your group:
1. Has any of the following symptoms - fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat or difficulty breathing
2. Have travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days
3. Have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
· A name and contact number will be taken for each group dining in our restaurant
As stated by Dr. Bonnie Henry, BC’s provincial health officer, the best way to stop the virus is to maintain physical distancing and proper hand hygiene. Therefore, masks will be made available to our staff but will be optional. Additionally, all of our staff will be wearing non-surgical masks for the duration of their shifts.
